Hybrid Event (both in-person and virtual)
Theme: Exploring the Lord's Prayer as a Spiritual Practice for Social Transformation
When: July 28-30
Where: VAUMC Conference Center
10330 Staples Mill Road, Glen Allen
and Good Shepherd UMC 9155 Hungary Road, Henrico (1 ½ miles from the Center)
Classes will be in rooms at the Conference Center and our worship and dinners/fellowship will be at Good Shepherd UMC. At least three of the rooms at the Center can support both in-person and remote participation.
Lodging: In-person attendees would make their own lodging arrangements. The Conference can make suggestions for hotels.
Friday: Opening worship/plenary will follow the evening dinner at Good Shepherd.
Saturday: Boxed lunches will be served on Saturday at the Center in our classrooms.
Sunday: Closing worship/communion will be with Good Shepherd on Sunday. Lunch on Sunday would be on your own as you travel. Registration will include two dinners, one lunch, supplies and classes.
